Using Photos in the Classroom - Web Wednesday 4/16/11

Every school in our district has at least one camera available for classroom use.  Photographs are a wonderful way to highlight students, projects and special activities.  The easy part is actually taking the pictures!  The harder part comes next: what to do with them.  Our MLTI laptops are outfitted with iPhoto, which we can use to edit and organize our photographs.  There are many other online photo storage sites, including Picasa, Flickr and Yogile.

Once you’ve mastered some a few basic photo tools, your options for using pictures are endless!

Check out this list of 100 Ways to Use Digital Cameras for inspiration.
